    All the data are based on the statistics of 4015 projects in Mall China database. Above is China’s shopping center storage type distribution forecast map in 2015 to 2016. As the map shown, neighbourhood shopping center accounts for 18%; community shopping center accounts for 29%; sub-regional shopping center accounts for 16%; regional shopping center accounts for 20% and super-regional shopping center accounts for 17%. According to the community shopping center definition given by Mall China, community shopping center is comprised of neighbourhood shopping center and community shopping center. Community shopping center accounts for 47% of all in the map, nearly half of the shopping center types. Comment: Mall China divides shopping center into 5 types including neighbourhood shopping center, community shopping center, sub-regional shopping center, regional shopping center and super-regional shopping center. Mall China decides the standard based on the area of shopping center type, by referring international standard and fusing China National Standardization Management Committee’s industry standard. Neighbourhood shopping center: Neighbourhood shopping center≤20000 sq.m. Community shopping center: 20000 sq.m.≤Community shopping center≤50000 sq.m. Sub-regional shopping center: 50000 sq.m.≤Sub-regional shopping center≤80000sq.m. Regional shopping center: 80000 sq.m.≤Regional shopping center≤120000 sq.m. Super-regional shopping center: Super-regional shopping center>120000 sq.m.
